A suspected bed bug problem is easier to organise when you start with evidence and avoid moving belongings at random.
Record which bed or room is involved and when the first concern appeared. Bite marks alone are not enough to identify bed bugs, so inspect accessible mattress seams, bed joints and nearby furniture for physical clues. If you find an insect, a clear photograph can help the next conversation.
Moving a mattress into another bedroom or carrying loose bedding through shared spaces can complicate the response. Keep suspect belongings together and ask how to prepare them. Do not throw away furniture before the problem has been assessed; treatment and disposal are separate decisions.
Ask which areas need access, what should be bagged or moved and which items should stay where they are. The answers depend on the method being proposed. In a hotel or shared property, nominate one person to coordinate instructions so guests, housekeeping and maintenance receive the same information.
A reduction in reports is useful, but follow-up checks should be agreed in advance. Keep a simple record of sightings after the work and share anything new. Eagle Pest Control can discuss the next step when you send the affected area, a description and your city on WhatsApp.
